The Great Fuzz Frenzy

fuzz.jpgStep 1: Read the book The Great Fuzz Frenzy by Janet Stevens and Susan Stevens Crummel. Also, learn more about prairie dogs at Wikipedia: Prairie Dogs and National Geographic: Prairie Dogs.

Step 2: Choose one of the following writing activities:

Option A - Choose your own animal. Learn about the characteristics and habitat of this animal. Include facts about the animal as you tell a story about what the creature finds in its home.

Option B - Retell The Great Fuzz Frenzy from the perspective of another character.

Step 3: Add the name of your page to the list at the bottom of the page. Click the LINK button and create a page. Save this page. Click the link to your page. Edit the page and add your story. Be sure to SAVE.

Step 4: Read the wikis that other students have created. Use the DISCUSSION tab to write a note to another student author. You could write a review of their project, add a suggestion, or write about how their project is like or unlike yours.
